Dear Sangha,

Due to the Covid19 situation our normal schedule has been suspended. In its place we are holding a series of "virtual" or "distance" group sittings and retreats which can be accessed by phone or computer.

Our weekly "virtual" group sittings are on Saturday mornings from 8:30- 9:50 am (Currently suspended) and on Thursday evenings from 7:30 - 8:50 pm EDT (also currently suspended). Tuesday evenings are now being held from 6:30- 8:00 pm via Zoom and include both zazen and a short Dharma discussion. A Zoom sign in is available for them at our egroup csangha@groups.io, or by emailing dharman_shakya@yahoo.com and requesting it.

The log in procedure for all normally scheduled zazen meetings and retreats, with the exception of Tuesdays, is to dial: 425-436-6394 and after that key in access code 553766 if you will participate via phone. You can also download the Freeconferencecall.com app, and using it via computer or smart phone select join a conference, and insert zendo when asked for the conference name. Participation via computer usually affords one the best sound quality.

Any practitioner can participate in all or part(s) of these sittings but please try to be quiet during zazen. Please turn your phone or computer onto "mute", and don't introduce yourself if practice has already started. The schedule for sittings and retreats consists of 30- 33-minute periods of sitting zazen alternating with approximately
7-minute periods of kinhin. Tuesday and Thursday evenings end with a short Sutra service or Dharma discussion. If you need a copy of our current set of "virtual" Sutras please email dharman_shakya@yahoo.com.

Our "virtual" Buddha's Parinirvana retreat will be held on February 17- 19. If you would like to participate in all or parts of it please let us know via our contact page. The schedule for our current retreat is in the footer below.

Looking forward to Dharma practice with you,

Dharman for CSangha
